Getting here from Bellevue

Take I-405 north to I-5 at Lynnwood, then I-5 north to Conway or Mount Vernon and head west toward La Conner. The field is at 16278 Laconner-Whitney Rd, La Conner, WA 98257. Parking is free and on site. No ferry, no pass, no reservation.

Outside of rush hour the drive is straightforward, and evening chukkers are timed so an after-work trip up from the Eastside works.

Playing polo as an Eastside rider

You don't need your own horses. La Conner is George Dill's home facility, so rental horses and grooms are available for lessons, club chukkers and tournaments — which is what makes weekly play realistic when your barn is 60 miles south.

New riders start with an evaluation lesson, then buy chukker packages or a club membership. See memberships and rates.

Watching a match

Game days and club chukkers are open to spectators for $10 per person, paid at the gate. Bring chairs, a picnic and the family; leashed dogs are welcome. It is real league and tournament polo, not a one-off charity exhibition.
