Getting here from Woodinville

SR-522 west to I-5, then north to Conway or Mount Vernon and west into La Conner. The field is at 16278 Laconner-Whitney Rd, La Conner, WA 98257. Parking is free and on site, and rigs are easy to accommodate if you're hauling your own horses.

For Woodinville and Bothell riders it's one of the shortest hauls to organized polo anywhere in the region.

For riders coming from another discipline

Plenty of players arrive from hunter/jumper, eventing or trail backgrounds. You don't need polo ponies of your own: La Conner is George Dill's home facility, so rental horses and grooms are available for lessons, chukkers and tournaments.

Start with an evaluation lesson, then move into club chukkers with a package or membership. Players on the field need a current USPA membership. See rates

Watching before you ride

Most people come and watch first. Game days and club chukkers are open for $10 per person at the gate — bring chairs and a picnic, leashed dogs welcome. It's an easy afternoon out of Woodinville, and a good way to see whether the sport is for you.
